Riding in VT: AWESOME! Not a flat piece of road to be found anywhere. Today 3 new Jersey Crew members, bringing the total to over $2K!

Just finished unloading the last of the boxes from the truck- after 3 long hard days of packing stacking, and tearing it all down again Samantha and I are Vermonters.  To be here without having to cram visits, bike rides, work, networking, relaxing, all into brief, stolen weekends looks like it’s going to be the best part of it all.  Lots of changes and transitions ahead, but I think this is the place and time of our choosing to give life our best shot.  Riding, needless to say, is spectacular, and I hope we can be a great getaway destination for many many friends.

It’s something that we’re all searching for in life: a resource that, like any, we deplete and replenish, squander or hoard, take for granted or treasure depending on how much of it we have and need.  Inspiration for me comes from role models I can emulate, from clear goals I can reach for, from movements I can lay claim to.  And so whether it’s working at a great nonprofit like ZUMIX, spending time with my DAD and GRANDDAD in the Whites, or getting on the bike to go climb a mountain, I’ve always looked for new sources to draw on.

spent the day packing- for our to Vermont; garden is growing and the mountains are waiting to be ridden (and hiked, and skied)!

getting back to providence (only doing this a couple more times) after a great weekend in Marion- great riding great friends

just got back from 65 minutes on the bike in Little Compton: Spring is here in Rhode Island, and Sakonnet Point is still my favorite beach
